Timothy Rogers Quote

"If we are true Christians...we must expect more trouble from the corruptions of our hearts, from the world, and from the devil" (Rogers Trouble of mind and the Disease of Melancholy Pg.23).

Hello. I found your blog randomly when searching for Timothy Rogers' book in Google one time. I have purchased the "Melancholy" book, and what i've read from it so far has been a great blessing to me. I'm only up to Chapter 2 right now, but I also skipped ahead to Chapter 11. I thank God that He enabled Rogers and others to write books on the disease of melancholy which I believe is a 'disease' that has affected me.

This book by John Colquhoun has also been a great comfort to me:

I've only so far read the chapters titled: "of the nature and signs of melancholy," and "directions to Christians [...]."

thank you for your posts, and i hope that you're also blessed by what you've been reading in the book by rogers. =)

sincerely,
